I became a substitute teacher five years ago, and I have never regretted my decision. I enjoy working with students, helping them achieve their learning goals, and interacting with teachers.

Tomorrow is your first day as a substitute teacher. You’ve been looking forward to this day for ages. Stepping into the world of substitute teaching can be both exciting and nerve-wracking. Having a child changes, no, rewrites your entire life. This may sound cliche, but it’s true. Ask any mom or dad. But, you wouldn’t have it any other way.

You dread going into work every morning. You spend the entire day wishing you were somewhere else. You go home and vent to your family about your horrible job and micro-managing boss, only to return the next day to be miserable all over again.
